Commonwealth Vocational Consultants is a multidisciplinary team of professionals who provide an objective analysis of individuals with disabilities. We provide a comprehensive evaluation of an individual's current level of function in order to identify their capabilities and limitations within the workplace and in the home environment.

An individual may experience a physical impairment as a result of an injury or illness. The physical impairment may also result in a functional impairment, or disability, which affects their ability to participate in work, leisure, and activities of daily living. As a result, this individual may experience a vocational loss in terms of earning capacity, employability, and labor market access.

Commonwealth Vocational Consultants can describe and quantify functional losses for use in the settlement determination process of Worker's Compensation, long-term disability, personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, and toxic tort cases. In the event of a catastrophic incident, a life care plan is recommended to provide a comprehensive assessment of the on-going costs associated with caring for the individual with critical and chronic healthcare needs.

Commonwealth Vocational Consultants provides a variety of services tailored to the specific needs of the client including vocational evaluations, functional capacity evaluations (FCEs), occupational therapy evaluations, medical case management, life care plans, job analysis, vocational case management, labor market surveys, and recommendations for home and worksite modifications to mitigate barriers and increase individual independence and productivity.
